to not have a double `go`, e.g. when running one of the following:

    gvm install go1.3 --binary

or:

    gvm install go1.3 --prefer-binary

- Remove unecessary $(cat)
- switch * to ./* to avoid entries with dashes to be treated as options
- replace $* with "$@"
- repeating change path serial calls - unecessary if change path is called one (get script)
